Lessons for a Better Shinyalu

By learning from the successes of others and understanding our unique context, we can build a more prosperous constituency. Humphrey's experience in Malava provides a critical foundation for this data-driven approach.

Why Shinyalu Needs Proven Delivery

Shinyalu has immense potential, but for too long, we have fallen behind our neighbors due to a lack of consistent, accountable leadership. We see other constituencies making strides in youth employment, agricultural value addition, and infrastructure, while our progress has stalled.

The difference is not a lack of resources, but a lack of proven management and financial discipline. My experience managing the NG-CDF in Malava has taught me how to navigate these challenges, ensuring that every shilling is accounted for and every project is delivered on time and to standard. This is not theoretical; it is a practical, tested model for success that we will bring to Shinyalu.

What Other Constituencies Are Doing Right

Adopting best practices to fast-track our development.

Makueni

Public Participation Works

Makueni has shown that involving citizens directly in budget-making leads to projects that have real impact and community ownership. We will adopt a similar model for Shinyalu's development funds.

Kibra

Investing in Youth Tech Hubs

Kibra's investment in tech hubs has equipped thousands of young people with digital skills for the modern economy. We can create similar spaces for innovation and employment in Shinyalu.

Nandi Hills

Empowering Agricultural Co-operatives

By strengthening farmer co-operatives, Nandi Hills has increased the bargaining power and income of its farmers. We will support our local farmers with training and resources to form strong, profitable co-ops.
